eko Excellence Awards

Any company or individual can submit in Eko Excellence Awards, regardless of its size, industry, funding or geographic location within the awards region – which is the city of Lagos.
Yes. A company with multiple locations is eligible to enter Eko Excellence Awards as long as it has business operations in Lagos State. This includes companies whose headquarters might be located outside the city of Lagos, but which have offices in the city.
Yes. A company can receive recognition from Eko Excellence Awards who have been awarded in other awards platform in the same award category. However, the company cannot receive the same award in two consecutive years. But we invite you to submit in other categories that might be appropriate.
Recipients of the Eko Excellence award are provided with the unique opportunity to benchmark themselves with top performers globally. The recipients are acknowledged for their achievements and recognized as the elite of their industry earning a place amongst a distinguished group by having their products, projects, initiatives, contributions and achievements recognized on a prominent and far-reaching scale. It reinforces corporate direction; recognizes the talent and hard work of your entire departments and leading employees; makes it easier to attract new talent to the company; gains a sales advantage; and provides additional public relations opportunities and value. Additionally, recipients of the Awards winners receive the following benefits: Press release: Recipients are featured in a locally distributed press release. Website placement: All recipients are featured on the winners’ pages on the award’s website; this includes logos and links to their websites. Award Plaque: Award winners receive complimentary customized award trophies. Silver and bronze winners have commemorative awards. Quotes: Recipients press release quotations, tweets or other public statements may also be featured throughout the Awards website.
All attendees must make table reservations in other to attend the awards latest two weeks to the award event. A 10% discount is given for reservation of two or more tables reserved prior to reservation deadline. This is with exception to partners and sponsors who may have gone into one form of MoU that promotes the interest of partners/sponsors and the organizers.
The submission process is simple. An entry in any category consists of three parts: 1) A description of the nominee’s achievements in 2018; 2) Hyperlinks to any news coverage, press releases or materials supporting the submission. 3) A short biography and business background of the nominee. Entries can be submitted via the online entry process or by emailing us directly.

The award program will welcome an audience of over 3,000 attendees with a mix of industry leaders in agriculture, automobile, aviation, banking, construction, energy, environment and waste, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, ICT- information and communication technology, insurance, manufacturing, media, oil and gas, public sector entities, telecommunications, travel and tourism, transportation and a host of others.
Yes. You may submit entries in as many award categories as you and your organization see fit. Every category is judged based on different criteria and every category garners a different pool of entries, some attracting many more entries than others. The best way to increase your chances at winning is to enter multiple categories. It may not even be necessary to create an entirely new submission. We have found that the same entry may be perfectly applicable to multiple categories with minimal to no tweaks. Of course, feel free to completely refresh your submission as appropriate to tailor it for the additional categories and content you wish to highlight.
The 21st century technology world is faced with the urgency to deliver improved and effective value driven services to the citizens, usually with limited resources. All entries are judged on their own merit, recognizing achievements and successes while taking into account the companies’ size, resources and competitive industry landscape. The judges don’t play favorites and honor the best work in the region, regardless of size and budget.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held November. However, other details and communications would have taken place prior to the award ceremony between the award recipients and the organizers of the awards.
All recipients must attend the awards ceremony for presentation of awards plaques and certificates.
Eko hall of fame magazine is the awards official brochure that features the profiles and accomplishments all recipients of the Eko excellence awards. The brochure will also feature adverts and content of other organizations who may wish to advertise and promote their products and services for wider audience coverage.
